Clip leads made with fake wire

Checking the resistance of some cheap Chinese clip leads I bought. The way these are crimped often doesn't make great contact. But even after soldering them, the resistance was still high. The wires were really thin, but it turns out, the resistance was still high considering that. It turns out, the wires, though they look like copper, are made of iron and coated with copper! Another great video and demonstration Matthias! Only note about neutral to ground bonding...it's an absolute no-no when the unit is connected to the grid (you already have a bonding at your service panel) but when running standalone, some devices such as GFCI's or RV protection circuits may malfunction if you don't use a bonding plug. The trick is to attach a bonding plug to the end of the Ecoflow's AC charging cable that plugs in the back of the unit. That way, you cannot put the bonding plug in front at the same time of having the AC grid plugged at the back of the unit.

Call me crazy, but couldn't you wet the sawdust. Next shape it into pelets or something stackable or able to be stored. Use sap/pitch/old oil or something as a binding agent. Let those dry then use it to be fuel? Also the saw dust can be used to repair wooden items so keep something like a 5 gallon drum.

I have a question you may be able to help me with. I have an Intertek RiteTemp Oil Filled Heater, Model # CYAA45-7T. The U-bolt for attaching the wheels, and the wing nut, have gone missing. (We have moved a couple times, so things go in boxes and then get lost.) Are replacement parts easy to find? Are these parts the same across all brands and models of these Oil Filled Heaters? Alternately, would you know if this company has gone out of business? The user manual has no contact information. No website, company name, phone number, ... nothing! And web searches turn up nothing. I'm starting to think they have renamed their company, or gone out of business. Any help is appreciated.

Great video, I like the empiricism approach, where knowledge is based on experience and experimentation. Errors and mistakes are part of the process, and sharing them will prevent others to do the same. I need to change the touch screen of my iPad, and I'm watching some videos. I saw different ways to do the correct way, but watching your's video I learned some things to avoid, and the need to replace the Touch ID of the new screen with the old one. Thanks!

How about a catch over the marble , synced to move when the motor stops? You could trap the marble and wind the arm to max rpm before releasing. I wonder if the pine arm would withstand that force.

Very interesting video! When comparing the dynamics of the motors, one factor that I don't believe you mentioned is that because all the motors are different sizes, their rotors will have different moments of inertia. It's therefore not a true like-for-like comparison, but may not be far off if the rotor inertia is small compared to that of the pointer.
